Nestled in the beautiful region of Calabria in southern Italy is a small family-run business that produces some of the most exquisite extra virgin olive oils in the world. This company has been handed down for generations and the passion for producing high quality olive oil runs in the family's blood. At the end of the forties, the young Antonio, penultimate of Giuseppe Santacroce's ten children, inherited what was his father's passion before becoming his, the production of olive oil. The art of oil was no small matter and it was necessary to know how to take care of the large family possessions. The right time to pick the olives, from recognizing the good ones from waste to preparing the animals to turn the grindstone. What he has learned has become teaching and the time that has passed has become memory and nothing has been lost. Our olives are of the Tonda di Filadelfia variety, originally from Calabria and known for its intense flavor and rich aroma. The company uses only carefully hand-picked olives at the right time, guaranteeing the highest quality of the oil produced. They also follow traditional methods of extraction, using stone millstones and cold pressing techniques to ensure the integrity of the oil is maintained. The company is proud to produce an extra virgin olive oil that is not only delicious but also healthy. Our oil is packed with antioxidants, vitamins and healthy fats, making it a great addition to any diet. The oil is also unfiltered, meaning it retains all of its natural goodness, resulting in a uniquely flavorful product.
